Disco Elysium Mobile Launched: ZA/UM Targets TikTok Audience

Author : Natalie May 15,2025

Following the buzz around their newly announced Project C4, ZA/UM has now revealed an official mobile version of the critically acclaimed *Disco Elysium*, set to exclusively launch on Android devices. The studio aims to introduce the game to a broader audience while offering existing fans a convenient, on-the-go experience. To achieve this, ZA/UM will make the first two chapters of *Disco Elysium* available for free on mobile, with a one-time payment option to unlock the full, ad-free game.

ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to transparency, stating, "We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase." The studio, now a blend of creators and custodians of the *Disco Elysium* IP, is dedicated to delivering a high-quality mobile experience that reflects their serious approach to both roles.

Studio head Denis Havel shared an ambitious vision for the mobile version, targeting the TikTok audience. "We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment," Havel explained.

Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and screenshots showcasing new 360-degree scenes designed to immerse mobile users directly into the world of Revachol. The mobile version also features brand new audio with full voiceover, enhancing the game's already rich character experience.

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium and designed to completely cater to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," tailored for short bursts of play. *Disco Elysium* is slated to hit Google Android in the summer of 2025.

It's important to note that while the studio retains the ZA/UM name, many of the original team members behind *Disco Elysium* have since departed. Numerous former ZA/UM members have left the studio since the game's release, with some now working on spiritual successors to the beloved RPG.
