Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. This new box set showcases the notorious Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with their iconic stage outfits.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a memorable episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The Cold Slither set includes meticulously detailed 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all outfitted for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanying these figures are 29 accessories, featuring musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and a drum set. The packaging itself is a work of art, designed to replicate the Springfield Theater setting.

This exclusive box set will be available for purchase at San Diego Comic-Con, scheduled from July 24-27, 2025. Post-event, limited quantities will also be available on the Hasbro Pulse website.

For fans who appreciate a nostalgic touch, Hasbro has partnered with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan in Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure echoes the classic A Real American Hero style, featuring O-Ring construction and retro packaging. It glows in the dark under UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories. Priced at $20, it will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.

Hasbro is further embracing the musical theme by collaborating with Reigning Phoenix Music to launch an actual Cold Slither album. Here's the official description:
