BASE is an innovative app designed to transform the traditional classroom experience by integrating football into the learning process. Tailored specifically for educators, BASE serves as a partner tool that injects a fresh and engaging dynamic into daily lessons, enabling children to absorb the same educational content through interactive play. The app's initial phase introduces a gamified structure, dividing the learning journey into three seasons, mirroring the format of sports tournaments. Each season is further segmented into four levels of competition: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season, ensuring a progressive and captivating learning experience. These tournaments feature varying numbers and complexities of questions, aptly termed "matches," which are designed to keep students motivated through the accumulation of coins, points, and trophies.
Developed collaboratively by the Vini.Jr Institute and the faculty of Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School, BASE's educational content is meticulously crafted to align with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) standards. The app's initial focus is on the early years of Elementary School, targeting students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of football and the power of technology, BASE aims to enhance the learning experience, making education both fun and effective for young learners.
