"The First Berserker: Khazan Unveils New Combat Mechanics in Gameplay Trailer"

Neople, a subsidiary of the renowned South Korean gaming giant Nexon, is set to launch its much-awaited hardcore RPG slasher, *The First Berserker: Khazan*, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Mark your calendars for March 27, as this game promises to bring an intense gaming experience to fans worldwide. To give players a taste of what's to come, the developers have unveiled an eight-minute gameplay trailer that delves into the game's sophisticated combat system.

The trailer highlights three fundamental principles of combat in *The First Berserker: Khazan*: attacking, dodging, and defending. Each action plays a crucial role in the game's dynamics. While defending consumes more stamina compared to dodging, executing a perfectly timed block can significantly reduce stamina depletion and minimize stun effects, giving players a strategic edge. On the flip side, dodging, which uses less stamina, demands sharp timing and quick reflexes to fully exploit the invulnerability frames during these evasive moves. As with many soulslike titles, mastering stamina management is key to success in *The First Berserker: Khazan*.

Running out of stamina leads Khazan into an exhaustion state, making him highly susceptible to enemy attacks. This mechanic adds a layer of strategy, allowing players to also target enemies' stamina bars to set up devastating blows. For foes without stamina bars, continuous attacks can still break down their resilience. These encounters require patience, precise positioning, and perfect timing from players. However, the challenge is balanced by the fact that monster stamina does not regenerate over time, providing a window of opportunity for players to capitalize on their opponents' vulnerabilities.
