Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an exhilarating real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on competitive player-versus-player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in epic battles. Players have the liberty to manually control an array of units and buildings, offering a high degree of freedom in their strategic endeavors.

Main Elements:

WOE meticulously simulates 18 powerful Empires from the medieval ages, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, which sets them apart. For instance, Mongolia has Riders, Persia boasts War Elephants, and Spain features Conquistadors.

The regular units, which remain consistent across all Empires, include:

  1. Swordsman: A ubiquitous unit on the battlefield.
  2. Pikeman: While vulnerable to arrows, they are effective against Cavalry.
  3. Archers: They are susceptible to Cavalry but excel against Pikemen.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for their speed and mobility, they are ideal for harassing the enemy.
  5. Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.

Buildings within the game encompass Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith shops, each with specific roles:

  1. Tower: Primarily offensive, capable of shooting 6 arrows simultaneously when manned by 5 farmers.
  2. Turret: Focused on demolishing enemy buildings.

Each Empire in WOE has its own strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to explore the game for detailed insights. Here's a glimpse:

  1. Huns: They don't need to construct houses, saving time. Their Cavalry is 20% cheaper and can be upgraded to Rangers.
  2. Teutonic: Boasts powerful warriors akin to historical Spartan warriors, though they move slowly.

Highlights:

The core of WOE's gameplay revolves around three simultaneous objectives:

  1. Develop Economy: Continuously produce and protect farmers to gather resources, utilizing Town Centers (TC) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harassing Enemies: Early in the game, deploy small units to disrupt enemy resource collection, gaining an advantage.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Engage in direct combat to defeat opponents.

Collaboration is crucial; players should form legions with allies to overcome numerically superior foes and shield vulnerable high-damage units. Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are key:

  • The Pikeman counters Cavalry.
  • Cavalry counters Archers.
  • Archers counter Pikemen.
  • Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry.
  • The Koryo Carriage counters all ranged units.

Game Modes:

Resources in WOE consist of Food and Gold. As players progress, they can upgrade their Town Center (TC) through various eras: Dark Ages, Feudal Era, Castle Era, and Emperor Era, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units.

The gameplay, known for its complexity, is streamlined into four modes, with Normal Mode and Imperial Deathmatch Mode being the most popular:

  1. Normal Mode: With limited resources, focus on development while deploying small units to harass enemies. It's challenging yet immensely engaging.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Players start in the Emperor Era with ample resources, enabling immediate, intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been successfully operated for four years in China and upgraded to version 1.8.n, WOE offers a comprehensive set of features:

  1. Player vs. CPU battles.
  2. Network play for seamless multiplayer experiences.
  3. Spectator mode for observing matches.
  4. Replay functionality to review and learn from past games.
  5. Map creation for personalized gameplay.
  6. Legion system for team play.
  7. Friends list for easy connections.
  8. Chat functions for in-game communication.
